We’re part of a nationwide movement that brings together people in the “third age” of life—typically those no longer in full-time employment—who want to stay mentally active, socially engaged, and physically well. Our aim is simple: to create a welcoming, friendly environment where members can share interests, learn new skills, and enjoy life to the fullest.
We offer a wide variety of interest groups, all run by our members for our members. Whether you enjoy history, languages, walking, gardening, music, art, current affairs or crafts, there’s something for everyone—and if there isn’t, you’re welcome to start a group yourself!
There are no exams, no pressure, and no prior qualifications needed—just a curiosity to explore and a willingness to share. Our group is built on the idea that everyone has something to offer, and we thrive on the wealth of experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm our members bring.
In addition to our regular interest groups, we host monthly talks, social events, and outings, creating plenty of opportunities to meet new people and be part of a vibrant, supportive community.
