We are now well into our summer season of Walking Rugby. Each week both sessions take place at the King George V playing fields in Haye Road.
On Tuesdays we start at 14.00 for about an hour, or however long the energy lasts. Afterwards we retire to the outside of the clubhouse (weather permitting) for a cup of tea/coffee, a sociable biscuit and a friendly chat.
There is no charge but a voluntary contribution can be made if required. NON-PLAYERS ARE WELCOME TO COME ALONG FOR A CHAT.
On Fridays we start at 18.30, again for an hour. This is followed by a visit to the bar with drinks at club, not pub, prices. AGAIN NON-PLAYERS ARE WELCOME.
In all sessions games are non-competitive and suitable for complete novices.
